Gyroflow, with a little more

Your log footage. Finished in one app.

Take a supported drone or action-camera clip from its original log recording to a finished export in Gyroflow Plus. Trim the part you want, stabilize the movement, select a matching .cube LUT, and adjust exposure, color balance, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows and saturation—all with a live preview.

Gyroflow Plus combines Gyroflow stabilization with LUTs and simple color correction. We built a lightweight color implementation based on OpenColorIO: highlights and shadows use curves derived from its grading transforms, and basic grading math is tested against its processors. The full OpenColorIO runtime is not included.

Your original recording and embedded motion data stay intact. Save the LUT and adjustments in a project, refine them later, and export a new video without repeatedly baking intermediate copies. Log video is not camera RAW; LUTs and adjustments can clip working values, and cannot recover detail the camera did not record.

Simple tools. A familiar workflow.

Your LUT, in view

Choose a .cube LUT that matches your camera’s recording profile and see it in both the live preview and stabilized export. Recent LUTs keep your usual looks close at hand.

Quick color adjustments

Make a simple grade with exposure, temperature, tint, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows and saturation. Compare with original colors and double-click a slider to reset. Available in the development source; packaged releases are still being tested.

Trim, stabilize, finish

Set the start and end of your clip, stabilize it using Gyroflow’s existing tools, then grade and export. Color processing follows stabilization; your original footage and motion data stay intact.

From the card to the finished clip.

Import your original recording, select the part to keep, stabilize, apply a matching LUT, adjust the colors, and export—all in Gyroflow Plus. For automatic imports and organization, pair it with Easy Eject →. Share the finished video through ShootCal →.

Action cameras are part of the workflow too. Gyroflow Plus retains upstream’s camera and gyro-data support, including supported GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360, Sony and other models. Stabilization still needs suitable motion data and a lens profile. Use the LUT for that camera’s actual log profile; don’t use an O4 conversion on every camera. See Gyroflow’s supported-camera guidance → for recording requirements.

Current end-to-end color acceptance is on DJI O4 Pro footage on the local Mac. Other camera/log combinations and portable releases are being tested. This is a single-clip finishing workflow, rather than a multi-track editing suite.

This is an independent community fork, not an official Gyroflow release. Gyroflow continues to be developed by its original contributors. See the color settings guide → for current capabilities and limitations.
